Storyline -
Feeling safe and sound in their suburban home, Will and Lynn Cameron have always slept well, trusting their children are protected. The Camerons believe they have raised three bright children and that once the doors are locked and the alarm set, nothing can harm their family.
When their teenage daughter, Annie, befriends a 16-year-old boy named Charlie online, Will and Lynn don't think much of it: this is how teenagers connect in the 21stcentury. Very soon, however, Annie becomes enraptured by Charlie and even when she learns he is not who he claims to be, she continues to communicate with him. It is a reckless decision with grave consequences -and sets in motion a chain of events that no one could have predicted.
