Storyline - 

In the 2004 thriller "The Shaft," elevator mechanic Mark Newman investigates malfunctions in the elevators of the Millennium Building, leading to a series of gruesome deaths. He teams up with a reporter, Jennifer, to uncover the cause of the strange behaviour of the elevators, which seems to have a sinister, almost sentient presence. As the body count rises, their investigation escalates, exposing a dark secret within the building that threatens their lives.
